Ebay IC's

So whats the deal with Ebay IC's? after all metal is metal the only problom I see is the welds...Anyone have on of these? if so hows it working out for you?

The welds are great! I bought the 4-inch thick core. If you're looking to save some $$$ and want to customize your own, I'd say buy it.
