easy way to remove stock air filter..

Did it today and it was a pain. Maybe I took off too much? Do you need to remove the intake pipes on the back and side? Hoping there is an easier way....

Nope, no easier way. Best to remove the entire box to change the filter. Once you have done it a couple of times, it gets much easier. Hope you installed a K&N while you had it apart

What I did was to remove the couplers and mounting brackets. This way, I just slide the box out when I need to.Also, I only need to remove one hose in order to remove the box.

Walien,

It sounds like your airbox is going to hit your hood when you hit a bump. That POS RB duct isn't going to help

Yes, remove it once and throw it away! Then replace with either two hard pipes with K&Ns or something like the M2 cold air box.
