"E" approved headlights

Hello,

I´m from Austria / Europe and I bought a 93 FD from Great Britan.
To register the car I would need headlights with an "E" approved stamp. (You can see it when in the glas is an circle with an "E" and an number in it.
Please can someone look, if the original Mazda headlights at US have this approvment, because the headlights at Europe are very expensive?

Thanks,
Chris

I believe another member on here had the same problem, registering a Japanese private import FD in Australia....no approval symbol embossed on the glass. Turns out the equivalent Australian delivered vehicle which supposedly should have it, doesn't either.

Perhaps the North American LHD market may be different.

In Austria the headlights have all the "E" approved sign and most the SAE / DOT.
Can nobody tell me if in the US the headlights also have both approvements?
