The subject line says it all. I see some with one some with the other *and* some with both -- wtf?

I care b/c I have an intake, dp, and cb and understand I should be thinking about this soon

Boost controller will help control your boost so you can set your prefered boost or help prevent a boost you don't want. The PFC is an upgraded ECU so you can manage amount of full etc... It can also act as a boost controller, but from what i've heard it doesn't do a very good job. So thats why you see people with both

 

i think the reason is the pfc just uses the stock solenoids and what not to control boost while an aftermarket boost controller uses its own solenoid which is better than stock. that's my guess, i could be wrong.
