Here is a dumb question.......

I just purchased my R1 a couple of months ago and am still playing "name that engine part" (this is almost as fun as the other game I play "name that squeak"). I was going over the cooling system and identified the 2 oil coolers and radiator. I also noticed that I have another radiator-looking thing in front of my radiator (sandwiched close together). I know that this is not part of the same unit as the stock radiator was replaced and is nice and shiny, while this one looks more aged. I've been looking in the shop manuals, but haven't been able to identify.

Anyone know what this is?
