Dual pump wiring

I know this has probably been covered before but i cant find none.

I want to wire up two stock FD fuel pumps...I found this picture that my man "50 grand" MR.theorie posted in a fuel pump wiring thread. Based on this picture what is needed to wire in another in tank stock fuel pump.

Just off the top of my head you'd need:

1. wire
2. fuel pump w/ filter
3. submerge-able rubber fuel hose
4. zip-ties and hose-clamps
5. fittings if you want an -an hook-up
6. fuel line depending on how you run the two pumps
7. fuel pressure regulator?

I think it'd be easier if you purchased a dual fuel pump assembly from rx7store.net and went from there.

---------------------------

What you have to figure out is if you want to run the two pumps into one fuel feed line or if you want to run each pump into their own line. If you go into one line then you'd need a Y-fitting. If you want run each pump to their own location.. well that complicates things, too.

Here are some links for thought (you've probably already read them)

Good question, I look forward to other responses.

wait, you meant wiring as in the actual electrical WIRE? My bad.

I don't see why you can't just Y the two pumps together off the power source (The pink wire on the diagram). Or shoot the power across the pumps themselves in the tank via another method like dudemaanownsanrx7 did in his thread.
