I'm looking to somewhat recreate the Racing Beat exhaust by sourcing my own dual outlet canister. Anybody have any ideas on brands or models that I should look at? Is the Racing Beat can resonated?

Damn, why wasnt this around a couple weeks ago when I gave up my search for a st mays exhaust.

 

Here are a couple of pics of a dual I built that is based on a Dynomax 17674, which is a high flowing baffled muffler. I like this setup, it sounds muscular; more of a v-6 or v-8 characteristic, depending upon rpm and doesn't sound so much like rice. The single is a PFS unit for comparison.

Magnaflow 12198 or 13288 (iirc) are a couple of other good choices that are about the right size for a dual build.

Notice the v-band on the mufflers' inlets so that I can quick change the various exhausts I have for this car.
