Question Dual Gauge pod too close to steering wheel?

Hey guys,

Anyone have a dual autometer gauge pod or just a dual gauge pod on the pillar? Is it me or is the upper gauge really close to the steering wheel when you install it? Should I install it higher to get the wheel to sorta go between the gauges? Or this isn't really a problem? Seems to me that I would be bumping my hand on tha upper gauge all the time, I dunno. No way or installing it temporarily and trying it at different heights? Anyone else see this as a problem?

P.S. When I get a chance I will post pics of my 2 10" subs in the back. Those aluminum cones look awesome through the rear window. Of course you can't drive around with the cargo cover off, unless you want to get them jacked!

well at first, i putted it too low. i always hit it with my hand but now that i have raised it a little, it is much better even thought it still is pretty close i think. But you don't have any other choice, if you raise it too much you will hit the face of the one on the bottom.

i have it installed on mine and it poses no problem to me. i am no tthat big though, 5'9 so if you are rather large i could see where it could get in the way but as for me i did knock it off once getting in the car, but just had it double sticky taped up since i was still deciding on where to put it, so i fastend it in with a screw and now if i do bump it it stays in place and if you use the right screw that you can counter sink you cant even notice it, hope this helps, scott

I'm not sure. I bought 52mm from Jason at the Rx-7 Store.
