[QUOTE=if your setup is already radical enough to need that big of an exhaust, its probably some track/drag car, so why not just dump it out the side fender/door saving yourself that entire path and weight.

thewird[/QUOTE]

I thought about that, but couldn't find a good place for pre-tire dumps similar to the 427 side pipes on a Stingray Corvette. Which were also BTW 3 inches.

Anyway, I'm gonna go ahead and say this because I'm sure someone has it, and I love these conversations. So.... Anyone have any thing on exhaust dynamics they can share.

Side Exhaust 3.5". It still has a custom muffler, otherwise would be closer to the front.

This looks very doable, and it would have a very unique exhaust note. Anyone have thoughts about a setup like this on a street car?

3in magnaflow offset race muffler or a Magnaflow offset turbo muffler. some minor trimming behind the door and a nice exhaust tip? It would be slightly loud but I could correct that with some extra sound and heat insulation on the passenger side.

You'd have to ditch the passenger seat lol.
