what would be the gain? The FD dual oil coolers are straight bolt-on.

 

Have you seen the size of the FC oil coolers?

 

The FC oil coolers are big...but where are you thinking about mounting them?
Being physically BIG isn't necessarily the best answer...but thought I would ask to see what you are thinking...

 

For the record, those oil coolers are like 2 feet wide.

They are big in the wrong direction....who cares if they are bigger if you can't fit them anywhere? Dual OEM oil coolers are good for any use except tracking the car in hot weather. In that case, larger coolers in the OEM spots are the most logical choice.
