Drivers side headlight reversed out of nowhere, NEED HELP!

OK my drivers side headlight recently became lazy, it was about an inch or an inch and a half lower than the passengers side headlight. I didnt really think about it because they both still worked so I let it go.

So last night I get in my car to drive to the mall, and the drivers side headlight starts getting lower and lower with every bump I hit until finally the headlight is completely closed. Now when I turn the headlights off, the drivers side headlight raises and the passenger side light closes like it should. When I turn the lights back on the drivers side headlight closes and the passenger side light opens as it should. Any ideas on what the hell can be the problem?!?!? It looks crazy riding around with only 1 headlight up no matter if its daytime or night.

Please help me out, I searched and found nothing weird like this...things like this only happen to me.

you know there are manually control ***** next to the headlights... Just pop off the caps and turn them and align both headlights to the proper height.
