Driver's door quit opening from inside
I was TRAPPED LIKE A BEAVER in my own car!
So I took off the door panel and saw that the linkage that connected the interior door handle to the cable that operates the latch had come loose. A couple of minutes with a pair of fine needlenose pliers and it was as good as new.

damn, that sucks. glad you make it out alright.
a friend of mine had locked herself in her car(sounds weird i know) but it was something about her battery and her locks. she could not unlock the car or roll down the window or even pop her trunk. she was parked in between some cars so it was tricky for me to give her a jump. she was stuck in her car for about an hour (she didnt know who to call) before i got there. it was in the middle of summer too.
a gerber would be handy to have inside the car. he he.

yeah, i thought it was stupid that she was not able to get out....actually i was laughing when i first got the call and thought it was a joke. when i got there i watched while she tried to pull the locks, pop the trunk, the windows and nothing worked. this is a very bad design by the maker. her situation could have been worse.
