Drive train input-- engine-torque damper&clutch chatter combo

While doing some minor cleaning around the engine bay area i went ahead and removed the Engine torque damper and re-parked the FD.

While doing so, I noticed that the clutch engaged a lot more smoother than it normally does with the damper installed.
I was no longer getting the chattering (when it's cold) of the clutch engagement noise and the shift engage/disengage chatter between shifts. ***i am running a lighter fly wheel***

Given that you understanding the function and purpose of a engine torque damper and or any other additional drive train bracing.
I have come to the conclusion that perhaps all that **** is not worth the additional vibration and loose of driveability.

after all these years, learned something new today.

I am just sharing my thought guys!!!
