with a car like an FD i would never drive no matter how little alcohol i had. The car is too HIGH PROFILE. chances are if a cop saw it, its risk of being pulled over is 10 times higher then any other car on the road, thats how i see it. Thats why ill never drive the fd on any drinks. Its just asking for trouble.

Blow is cocaine, not weed or marijuana

Gosh, the results of this poll are sad. There are so many people here who are so knowledgable about the machine but have no clue about the human component of what's controlling it.

If you drink, don't drive - anything. Here's a little advice. If you are determined to go out and drink to have a good time, plan for it. Have a designated driver or better yet, have a phone number for a cab and cab fare home. Sure it's inconvenient, but I have seen what happens when drunks get behind the wheel. I'm a photojournalist by trade. I have to shoot fatal accidents for a living. I hate it, but it's news. I've seen enough people killed by alcohol influenced drivers to make the nightly body count out of Iraq look like a good day at the office. Most of those killed were not the drunk driver. It only takes two drinks to impair your ability to control a Chevy, let alone an RX-7. Think about the reality of living with your self after you've killed someone who was quite innocent.

Don't get behind the wheel of a car when you have been drivinking. Please. I've seen enough bodies.

What do you mean? i've had my FD for a year no, i run no front number plate (illegal in the UK) and turn my headlights off and just run on fogs at night (i hate the pop-ups) and ive NEVER been pulled over....Im sure it actually works the other way, the cops think "car like that noone would be stupid enough to drive it drunk/no insurance/etc"

The most drunk ive ever driven my FD is after about 2/3 bottle of white wine in a restaurant. I didnt feel drunk or slow (But you never do do you?) but i was a little heady. I went round a roundabout, gave it a little bit of power and drifted halfway around the whole roundabout (by accident haha) it scared the hell outta me...i can drift, but i just wasnt expecting this one!!

Anyway, i dont drink much anyway (probably get drunk once a month if that) im more of a smoker (most days)

Drink driving isn't a good idea, but more people than youd think get away with it. I think cars should have a breathaliser in them that you have to blow into to get the car to start, and then if you get out of your seat you have to blow into it again before moving off or the engine cuts out. I know other people can do the blowing for the driver, but at least a SOBER person has to authorise a drunk person to drive that way (and anyone who does that deserves to be injured in a drink driving crash)

i cant believe your doing those rev's with that little fuel in your tank!

Mind you, knowing these cars, it was probably a quarter tank 2 miles back down the road
