I finally got my FD back to "stock" condition, solved a boost problem, and have started to do some mods.

I have a potential problem though - my car has quite a tendency to drift on turns at anything higher than granny speed.

I live in Arizona and I have yet to drive this car on wet roads, but the roads around here tend to have a lot of debris, small rocks, etc. Traction can also be a problem. I don't suspect it is my driving style because I don't drift in my 1st gen, or other coupes I have owned.

Is this something I can help with some modifications, or is it just something that is a characteristic of the FD?

 

try not to brake in middle of turn.
if you turn then brake harder, it will make the rear comes around.

what kind of tires are you running? do they have good tread left? Are you boosting it during a turn??? how is your allignment? When my allignment was bad it felt like the rear end was very loose, do you actually slide or does it feel loose?

Like I said, I don't think it's my driving style. I don't brake during a turn (unless there's suddenly a pedestrian in front of me).

See sig for tires. They have maybe 500 miles on them. They are designed for grip on dry pavement, go figure.

I'm not boosting during these turns. I think my alignment may be off, that could be the problem. It does feel very loose.
