I am doing a downpipe install at the moment (on a 1993) and it appears that all four studs are the same length. I was expecting one of them to be shorter that the others. And I need that shorter stud to get the beast on.


What is the part number for this shorter stud? I did a search but am getting conflicting information.

 

It's an updated part number, which could explain the apparent conflict. Look up the part number for the M10 turbo-to-manifold studs - these are the shorter studs often used on the downpipe.

I THINK it's now 9YA92-1008, was NF01-13-708A.

For reference, the longer (original) DP studs are 9YA90-1002.

FYI: I often go to www.mazdapartscheap.com and type in items by part number. The prices are good, although not 100% of the numbers come up, and it will show a superceded part number if one exists.
