Question Downpipe Recommendation

I'm looking for comments or recommendations regarding the following downpipes:

1) Pettit
2) HKS
3) RX-7 Store Downpipe/Midpipe Combo

I'm considering purchasing the one from the RX-7 Store as it is cheaper than the others and also includes the midpipe (although I don't need that section at this time). I plan to retain the stock main cat and also have the Greddy Ti exhaust on order.

Sorry I asked such a beaten to death question. Mommy taught me how to use the search feature and I found the answer I was looking for.

The HKS would be the easier one to install but if you dont mind just get the rx7 store dp/mp combo or one off of ebay.

I bought the rx7 store combo since it was cheaper then the rest. It bolted up perfect and also bolted up to the stock cat wich most kits off ebay require you to use the mid pipe that comes in the combo.

Please dont tell me you paid $329 for a downpipe. There are so many options that are cheaper and just as good.

$329.00 (http://www.srmotorsports.com/sr93xhst.html) I'd have to say thats a rip off compared to other dp's. You get what you pay for most of the time, but the rx7 dp is a nice piece.

I just finished installing a used HKS DP. Bought it for $100 and got it Jet-Hot 2000 coated (~$100 including shipping both ways). It fit up perfectly, and went on easily even with all four studs in place.

the most important thing about a down pipe is to get the smaller studs and nuts to make it easier to take off next time.

Question to the HKS users: Is this the one that has the cast iron upper mated with a steel tube (JDM???)

There is one of these on EBAY right now: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=7950523477
