Well, the RVM can be had on eBay for 160. Such a great deal, I can't say enough about it. And though most people say ou have to remove the intake and hoses, I did the job 2 times without removing them. It would be easier to get in there without the hoses there, but to me, I am not sure it's worth the extra effort. But also, my studs all came out instead of the nut coming off. If the nut came off and I had to remove the studs seperately, it may be nice to have the hoses off.

I finally made a decision last night and got the RVM from ebay. It is a great deal. I think I'll have a better sense of whether I'll need the hoses off when I get the shield off and spray the studs with liquid wrench.
Not much room to work I know especially when you've got "non-Japanese" size hands!!

**** liquid wrench, use PB BLaster. It is the best penetrant out there hands down.
