Downpipe on Ebay any good?

I see several of these stainless downpipes on Ebay
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cg...item=601180871
for the awesome price of $235. Does anyone know anything about these? They don't list the manufacturer, and even though the price is great, I'm a little weary of spending this much on a downpipe I know nothing about.

Thanks,

Paul

IMO a DP is a DP as long as it's 3" and stainless, but read this and draw your own conclusion before doing business with that seller: https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...threadid=38467

It's the same guy, I highly reccomend you don't buy from them. To me it didn't look like the O2 housing was threaded.

3 negative feedbacks in the past month, thats very bad.

If you are looking for a cheap downpipe jason has the HKS mild steel DP on sale for like 199.00.. It's not polished stainless, but it'll work.. Just an option. They want 24.00 shipping for that btw, so that is going to put your total around 260.00. Jason also does sell pettit S.S. ones for like 299.00, you may want to see if he can do any better on the price for one. At least for the extra $$$ you'll know what you are getting.

Yea, just buy a new one. You'll be worry free and no one can see it anyways but who's to say that is the actual pic of the one he's selling.

www.M2Performance.com $295 and supposedly one of the easiest to install.

DO NOT buy from that snake. the O2 sensor boss is welded in the wrong spot. once you put the DP on you will not be able to put the O2 sensor in. do not get this DP, instead go with a pettit or M2, they're much better.

What about their Midpipe?? There is no O2 fitting on this. How hard can it be to screw up this piece...it is basically just a pipe. Possible fitment problems?? I emailed the guy and he said that he has a '93 and has one on his own car. What do you guys think??

Thanks for all the replies guys.
I'm definitely not going to buy from this guy. Questionable pipe quality, and other people have had problems dealing with him. I'll probably go with a Petit dp.
