Double throttle mod w/simplified sequential

This may be a stupid question, but it does the double throttle need to be removed for the simplifed sequential? I could not find anything stating that it as to be removed. I did noticed that the actuator is removed, so I see that as a yes.

Also I wanted to add, I guess what I am really asking is that if the actuator is removed then the throttle plates need removed.

If the actuator is removed, then you have disabled the double throttle so the plates are just sitting there in a horizontal position (open). They don't provide that much restriction but most people just remove them when the double throttle is disabled.
