I push down on the inside lock (to lock the door) and close it. I grab the outside handle and the door opens right up. The lights start flashing along with the horn. This happens on both doors. Any ideas?

 

1. Check the door lock fuse by the drivers left foot. its a 10 amp fuse. If the lock doesnt go down but the passenger side goes down, check the cable to the on the drivers side, it may have broken. Take off the drivers door panel to check it.

Ill check that fuse. As for holding the handle up, no I dont do that.
