door panel squeaking

on the driver side, the inside door panel, where the locks/power window button is, makes squeaking noises when I put my arm on it or when I try to open the door. Is it just old age or is there a way to fix this? it's a bit annoying.

Thanks.

Here's what I did.
Take out the plastic panels and fill it up with some black silicone.

^I use clear adhesive silicone, but it's the same principal. Also used it to stop an annoying rattle in snap retainers of the cargo divider.

these cars are full of rattles and squeaks. this is what I did . I took the door panels off and lined the interior of the door with foam rubber. the stuff you line cabinets with. its thin so it works well and made the door feel more solid. under the switches and plastic I use stick on black felt worked out great.
