Hey all, I cant get my driverside door to lock from the inside, it locks with a key from outside, but if I try to lock it with the alarm or from inside, it will just keep bouncing. it tries to lock then unlocks straight away.

Got the skin off and found that the cable is really tight, or a mechanism to keep it in the 'lock' position is broken if there is any.

Anyone had similar issues ? or any ideas?

I had the same question, I haven't installed my alarm yet but was wondering if the drivers side door would lock when I press the button.

 

just a real pain as I think the alarm works off the inside lock, and because it bounces, it wont lock the car at all, and I have to manually lock it everytime

 

Uhhh I have the same problem as well. I can lock it manually on the inside door, but the car alarm does not lock it. It does the same time, it bouces. The alarm does unlock the car, so that is a +
