Door glass

How hard is it to swap out the door glass in these cars? Im done removing tint every other year for inspection and am going to buy new glass so i can hopefully quickly swap it out when needed. Its only 350 bucks for both.

the door panel wont come off after you take the screws off around the door panel, I believe theres some wires that connect to it on the inside that is difficult to get off

Does it have any of those annoying clips that snap into the frame that love to break? If so i may just leave them the heck alone for now.

If its just the 4 screws, the one hidden under the switch on the pass. side and some wires, it doesnt seem tooo bad. Im coming out of a 3000GT VR4 which everything is a pain to work on, so i'm kinda used to things being difficult.

look at the picture, it looks like theres wires that go from the frame to the door panel, on the bottom right, its not hard to start the process, if you think you cant do it, just screw the panel back on

Really? The door panel is all sorts of easy to remove. It's no different than any other car.

After it's removed, roll the window down halfway, remove 2 10mm nuts, remove glass. It'll take you 20 minutes if you take your time.

Whats wrong with just getting legal tint so you never have to waste your money?

No such thing as legal tint up front. I only asked to make sure there wasnt anything really specific i was missing, like the screw behind the pass. side window switch
