here are 3 pics of 3 things that i found on a JDM RII

does your R or RII have them?

1. alloy kickplates with RX7 in gold anodized, standard plates are black plastic

2. LSD sticker on drivers side door, an option on all cars?

3. no rear wiper, no squirter, (no bulge for the water tank on inside trim???)

I believe the ATS sticker is like a warranty sticker for the company ATS. I knew of many honda guys running ATS final drives and the such.

I don't know if it is a standard option though in Japan

 

the sill plates are worth nothing on yahoo and easy to find.

also your door sticker says you have normal suspension, dunno what a R has.

 

my R has 'hard' - but it depends what production run the car is from.

ats sticker, I would assume, is aftermarket

sill-plates vary across the range and were an option part

R will have a rear wiper, R2 doesn't (being a 2-seater).

 

1994 R here....no alloy door sills, no LSD decal, and mine has the rear wiper and squirter (that is until bodywork is done and it's shaved)

 

I have a 94 R2....has no rear wiper, no kickplate, and no ATS sticker.

 

No United States or Canadian R-model had a rear wiper or squirter to my knowledge, but options in Japan may have been different.

The aluminum sill plates were a dealer installed option, so any model could have had them. Most R-models came with the standard black plastic trim piece, since all United States R-models had black interior.

And finally, the LSD sticker isn't a factory sticker. Anyone can put a sticker on the door jamb.
