I just went out and timed my car in the 1/4 with g-tech. I dont know if I put in the right weight, I put it in at 2812. Anyway here are my mods. petit cold air, dp,cb,and a new launch kit from petit,and some s'03 for rubber. I still have a little wheel hop. the et 13.5 @ 108.9 with a 10-13-10 boost pattern. Does this time seem slow? I was hoping for a low 13, but any way what do you guys think?

 

Your boost pattern is a little strange, with those mods you would expect it to be more like 13-11-13. Sounds like you might have some turbo control issues. Also, you really should be looking at getting an ecu or getting yours reprogrammed with those mods.

 

I was boosting up to 15 psi. I took it to petit and thats how they set it up. Yeah I know I need a ecu, and I only hit 15psi once.

 

Dan...a couple 15 boost spikes is all it takes for another to get chalked up under "rx-7 is unreliable"...please get a reporgrammed ECU SOON

 

Oh, they must have changed the pills or what not, still a pretty good spike at the transistion though. I don't think those numbers are that bad for only running 10 psi. As you say, you are still getting wheel hop, so your launch isn't perfect (not that can I get a perfect launch either). I think most of the guys on here hitting very low 13s and high 12s are running 13-14 psi with an aftermarket IC, midpipe, and fuel pump.
