Does something go here?
Hey guys,
I'm relatively new to the forum and new to FD's, so first let me say hi !
I just got an '93 FD last weekend and I've started cleaning it up and learning about it. Yesterday I changed the oil, tranny fluid, and diff fluid. While I was under the car I noticed there was a lot of stuff coated in a layer of oil. I don't know if there is an oil leak or if this is just build-up from 13 years of use. I'm planning on trying to clean up everything as best I can and then starting the car and watching for oil leaks.
In the meantime, while I was under the car I also noticed a threaded hole that didn't have anything in it. No bolt, no sensor, nothing. I've circled the hole I'm talking about in the attached picture. The pic is the driver side of the engine. You can see my spark plug wires, and then the hole I'm talking about it right below it. Can someone go out and look at their car and see if anything goes there? Thanks!

Nope, it's just a hole. I think if you have an automatic, the metal lines for the tranny oil cooler might bolt to that hole.

Dale is correct but I see that your purge tank is not attached to the studs that come out of the bottom of the throttle body to hold on the elbow .I think that is what I see in the pic, hard to tell .
