Does a S7 alternator work on a S6?

Does a S7 alternator work on a S6?
Are they the same? I have a S6 with f**ked bearings which needs a rebuild but I know a guy selling a cheap S7 alternator with low kms, can I simply swap it in?

you will be fine, but they arnt the same i will have a look in the moring but the amp is different

the s6 is a 100amp and s7 if you have a look ats your mates as my car is well its in the shop lol but i think its 120amp
