act pressure plate / light alum fly/ 6 puck clutch

pulled the engine today and thought this looked like abnormal wear.

does it need replaced. Keep in mind I don't cut corner with my car.

can you measure that wear?

If it was me and my car, id probably run it, at the same time, if that was a clutch i was doing in a friends car, id probably have it replaced

Was your throwout barring siezed? thats much more worn than even the 100k clutch i recently pulled out of a friends 10th ae

the throwout barring was off centered and damaged, it was making a growling noise with the clutch peddle engaged (pushed in) Only one year old.

ouch id use it with a new throw out bearing but then again i do my own work so it would only cost me time if it failed. so comes back to your choice. how does the 6-puck look pending that ya might as well replace it.

clutch and flywheel are in perfect condition. My throwout was bent and was not in balance. I already put a new throwout barring on, I want to not have to pull the engine again. I'm doing all the work on my own so time is my only consideration, I would like to have my car as the daily driver again so I don't want to open the clutch up again.

Take it to a clutch rebuilding shop, they can realign and occasionally re-tension fingers and machine them a bit so they don't mangle your T/O.
