FL Does open door run down battery?

Recently replaced the battery, but now if I don't crank the car for say 2-3 days, the battery will be completely drained??? Tested the alternator and it seems fine. The only thing I can think is that the driver's door doesn't always close completely. Could the open door signal be enough to run down the battery? I always thought that it kind of timed out after a few minutes.

Thanks for any insight.

If door is open, interior lights may be on. That will certainly run down your battery.

Another possible drain due to the doors being open is the small orange light near the ignition key cylinder.

Get a DVOM and hook it up to battery (check you tube if your unsure of procedure) then pull fuses until you see the change in voltage. That will tell what circuit has the parasitic drain. Link for test procedure.
