Plates are in storage so that means he hasn't been driving for awhile and unknown engine.

If the first one really has 70K or more on the engine its more likely than not on its last legs and will probably need to be replaced soonish.

I say find a 7 guy in Hawaii that is willing to check it out with you, and/or recommend a rotory shop that you should take it to and have it looked at. If they say its good then I'd probably spring for it, as 6500 is pretty cheap in my opinion. If the owner is uncomfortable for ANY reason with having it inspected by a rotory shop then I would WALK THE HELL AWAY.

6500 for the car is really cheap.
Be a good car for an engine swap.

Bottom line is you need to check it out for yourself.
Could be a scam too, can never be too careful.
