I'm brand new to the FD and trying to figure out what the car I purchased has on it. The owner did not have paperwork to support the mods or I would have searched for this tuner. There are no markings or even a product name on it. I'm running super rich and I think this Apple ii product may be a culprit.

 

That is a handheld controller for as PFS MCU. If your MCU is purple then you have what everyone refers to as the Peter Ferrell Supercars (PFS) purple box.

Don't quote me on this but I think that computer predates the Apex'i Power FC to sometime in the mid 90's and there is a reason why people stopped using them. I'll let you do a search so you can decide for yourself about it.

I can see why....the driveability is not all that great. With that said idk who has tuned or messed with the programming.
