I was just wondering because I am having problems in this area and if I could get the part number I could request it from my friend that works at a dealership and maybe he can get me a better price. I don't know how much they would run anyway but I am sure they can't be cheap considering that nothing for this car is.

Uhh, I do not have my parts book in front of me, but I think you might have the wrong part there. He is asking for a solenoid, not an actuator. I think I usually pay about $36 from MazdaSpeed Motorsports Development, so list price should be around $50-$55 each. I could be wrong, but $110 sure sounds high.

Mazdaspeed price on the wastegate and precontrol solenoid is about $75. So $111 sound like a discounted price from list.

I have a used wastegate/precontrol solenoid. Works fine and none of the nipples are cracked or anyhitng. PM me if you are interested.

 

I didn't look up the part number, but if that is the correct part number, from Mazdatrix:

20-2850-N3A1.....SOLENOID DUTY.........93-95 DUTY SOLENOID...$ 125.70

$111 isn't a bad price (provided that's the correct part#).

 

Well, looks like my memory is not serving me very well today. Sorry about that. I thought those were about the same price as the ones in the rack. I guess not.
