I need a little help im looking at the wiring diagram right now, but im trying to figure out what the blue connector on the UIM is. It bolts right onto it. This is by the firewall side right before it goes into the LIM. Im non seq and trying to see if i need this still. i took it out and its a rod the just goes in to the UIM. does this measure tempature or something else? (thermowax rod?)

WOW look at that i answered my own question Br/B + G/w wire... Engine Coolant Tempature sensor i guess i need to fix that because i need it

 

um was that ajoke ?? cuzz what your describing sounds more like the intake air temp.

 

ur are correct sir.... br/b + G is Intake air temp sensor....the one right beside it is Engine coolant... my mix up
