i was down in seaside this past weekend. and i was stopped at a stopsign in my fd, i had the stock wheels on and everthing. some kid in a new escalade with like 22s on it rolls up next to me, hangs out the window and says, "that **** is ****** dope." i didnt really know what to say cause when i looked over alls i could see is his huge chromes. i thought it was cool that some kid who spent prolly 5 grand on rims can respect a fast car even though it has stock wheels. i have 18s for sale by the way..

Last night when I pulled into Taco Bell some chick came over and asked if she could take a picture of my car. That's the first time that's happened to me.

at the local muffler shop

"Hey, wow, nice car, what is it?"

mechanic says: "Oh, that's a new Toyota"

"Wow"

I say - uhh.... its a mazda, RX-7

another guy comes up

"Did you say thats the new RX-7?"

"Umm....yeah"

"I used to have an '84, a real one, with a rotary engine in it"

"Oh, really! yeah, i don't know if mine is real, but it's got a rotary too"

"oh."

We do have "real" RX-7s, don't we? I wouldn't want to sound like an idiot......

The lady working at the gas station asked me what is was and then said it looked like a Viper, except it wasn't big enough to be.
