Regardless, there was a slight misunderstanding, and I'm not going to argue semantics anymore.

Now I don't understand why there is an arguement over whether the Profec B boost controller lowers boost on an FD...because it does. Been proven by hundreds if not thousands of rx-7/Profec B owners.

The Profec B DOES LOWER BOOST on an FD3S to LOWER THAN STOCK LEVELS.

i just got a profec B how do i lower my boost so i can run 3-4psi??

7psi is way too much for me. I'm looking at my profec B right now, but it doesn't say anything about lowering boost.... does greddy have new updated instruction for lowering boost? this is awesome. I think i'll start by running at 0psi and slowing turn it up from there!!

You guys are ******* rediculous....

I've already said this once and i'll say it again: You're arguing 2 different points. One of you is saying, hey, since stock boost is 10psi, the greddy install makes you able to run 7psi. GREAT! WONDERFUL! GRAND! You successfully lowered your boost by 3psi. The other is arguing that you cannot use a boost controller to drop boost below whatever stock wastegate spring pressure is....GREAT! WONDERFUL! GRAND! You're right too!

WHO GIVES A FLYING **** EH?! Why don't you just agree that you are both right in your own way and quit having a pissing battle? Seriously. Is it worth both of your time to sit and try to prove the other wrong? It won't work. The nissan guy is a guy I personally know and I know he won't drop it, he's a pig headed pile of **** but knows what he's talking about. But he won't concede in this instance to a guy who, from what i have read, is the exact same way.

YOU ARE BOTH RIGHT AND YOU ARE BOTH WRONG! OKAY?! Jesus.

Anyways, Scott, the guy at Technodyne w/ the FD was my roomie. The reason he didn't dyno is it's not actually his car, rather in his care until the owner gets back...he also got a bad impression of Brady for god knows what ever reason. Oh well.

mr. jinkz you are a real ***.

why???
are you telling me that i can't lower my psi below 7psi when everyone on this board says a boost controller can? did i just waste $400 on a profec b? so i can't run 0psi until i get used to the power this car makes?

this sucks.

why am i listening to you only have only 1 post. you don't know what your talking about. maybe i can trade in my profec b for an apexi avcr i bet those can lower boost.

Mr. KenFuji -

Shove a totoro up your butt. You can pay me 400 dollars to do it...that might allow you to run less than wastegate pressure...

but i have a feeling it will increase your backpressure too much...

The best way to run zero psi is with a built-in boost controller---your right foot .

And I have a whole shitload of posts, so I must know what I'm talking about
