you should keep the midpipe off regardless. the stock catback doesn't provide that much backpressure.

But to answer your question, from the sounds of it, it is probably an aftermarket. Stock has dual tips, and isn't stainless.

Stock has dual tips like Martini said and would have to be a HUGE single tip to cover those holes. Also I think the stock cb does have some writing on it.

Look on the bottom of the muffler. Stock mufflers have N3A1 stamped on them. It should be pretty obvious. May have to roll up on ramps to see it though.
