Do i have an aftermarket exhaust or not, you decide
Ok here is my situation. I have an exhaust system that has a 2and half inch thick piping from the muffler to the midpipe. The muffler is stainless steel coating, with a huge tip welded to it. Now i dont know weather its a custom exhaust or aftermarket or what. There is no name on the muffler of any company its made by, what is it?? it has piping from the muffler to the midpipe or maincat that is 2and half inches thick. I will be posting a pic of my exhaust so it can be more better analyzed. What do you guys think??? If it turns out that its a custom exhaust, would i have to remove the midpipe?? i have down pipe, stock knn air filter drop in, midpipe now the questionable exhaust. If the exhaust is aftermarket i guess i would have to take the midpipe off right??

you should keep the midpipe off regardless. the stock catback doesn't provide that much backpressure.
But to answer your question, from the sounds of it, it is probably an aftermarket. Stock has dual tips, and isn't stainless.
