Disconnected rear sway bar. Aftermarket endlinks replacements?

So, I had my car jacked up and noticed that the driver's side of the sway bar was disconnected. Looks like the link on that side was cracked in half. My sway bar was loose and free to move up and down.

Is this common problem problem? I know the front sway bar mounts tends to bend/crack over time.

Also, where can I find replacements? Are there aftermarket ones that'll hold up better than the stocks?

Thanks for the help!

the end links for the rear bar are fd specific... they tie in w the lower shock mount and upper a arm. you will need to replace w OEM. they are of excellent quality and you should never have to replace either link in the future. you will need to remove the lower shock bolt to remove but it isn't much of a job.

btw, i wouldn't hesitate to put a good condition used link on if i needed to save some money. i am sure you could find a set in the classifieds on the forum for $30 plus postage.

good luck,

I know of quite a few stock rear endlinks that have failed with stiffer aftermarket bars, but it's generally not a problem with stock rear bars.

Thanks for the info guys.
I've got a stock bar on mines, but its dropped pretty low (bought it like that, too low for my liking actually...).

Any idea how much stock links are new?
Do aftermarket bars come with new links as well?
I'm thinking, maybe go aftermarket now since I've got to replace a link.

btw, It's a R1.
