Disassembled Headlights

I bought an RX7 and the prior owner disassembled the headlights. The pivot point on the pop-ups, is it supposed to be a long bolt? It's missing and I can't reassemble them....

i don't know about the FD, but the FC and the miata both use a bolt with an oversized shank, and the shank is the pivot surface. the miata parts are available new, off the top the FD stuff wasn't sold separate

It’s separate bolts on the FD, not long bolts. It does have the smooth shouldered section J is talking about. It rides in a brass bushing.
