Disabling Factory Alarm

I just installed my alarm system and had to bypass the factory alarm, so... when i unluck the car, the headlights flip up because its temporarily being set-off, untill the doors unlock which is on a 3 second delay. Then everything is fine. Also, the lights dont always flip up, I have found no patterns what-so-ever and dont understand it. I figure the only way to stop this is to disable and take out the factory alarm system. How do I do this? The more simple and "to the point" the explanation, the better, cuz im not highly electronically gifted like some of you guys. I just know basics and extra stuff RX7 specific.

I believe one of the easiest ways to dissable the factory alarm is to fiddle with the pin that monitors the hood. Check what state it's in first, but I'd bet you'd want to permanently ground that sucker, then the factory alarm will always think the hood is open and never switch the alarm on.

Here is a wiring diagram.....
You may also want to make sure you are using the correct parking light wire.(Not the headlight wire)
The Alarm disarm will have to be pulsed with a negative pulse from your alarm (Look for a negative pulse wire) There is no easy way to explain it.

YEAR: 1993 MAKE: Mazda MODEL: RX-7 STYLE:

| ITEM | WIRE COLOR |POL | WIRE LOCATION |
| 12V |black/green | + |ignition harness |
| STARTER |black/blue | + |ignition harness |
| IGNITION |black/white | + |ignition harness |
| SECOND IGNITION |black/yellow | + |ignition harness |
| POWER LOCK |add actuator | |in drivers door |
| POWER UNLOCK |add actuator | |in drivers door |
| PARKING LIGHTS + |red/black | |fuse box |
| PARKING LIGHTS - |gray | |steering column |
| HEADLIGHTS |white/blue *3 | - |steering column |
| DOOR TRIGGER |blue/white | - |passenger kick panel*2 |
| TRUNK/HATCH PIN |gray | - |switch or cpu #2 *5 |
| HOOD PIN |brown/yellow | - |switch or cpu #2 *5 |
| TRUNK/HATCH RELEASE | | | |
| FACTORY ALARM ARM |dk.green/black | - |drivers kick panel |
|FACTORY ALARM DISARM |lt.green/black *4 | - |drivers kick panel |
| TACHOMETER |yellow/blue | |leading ignition coil*1 |
| BRAKE WIRE |green | + |at brake switch |
| HORN TRIGGER |green/orange | - |column or cpu #2 *5 |
| WIPERS |blue/yellow | + |steering column |
| LF WINDOW UP/DOWN |red - green | A |in drivers door |
| RF WINDOW UP/DOWN |blk/wht - blk/yel | A |in drivers door or dkp |

NOTES:
*1 also found coming through the firewall above brake. Set module to the
six(6) cylinder setting.
*2 Can also be found in the drivers kick panel above the relays.
*3 To operate the pop-up motors provide 12v to the white/green, also at
the steering column.
*4 Has also been found to be a pale yellow/red on some models.
*5 CPU #2 is located in the left kick panel.

main thing is, i dont want the aftermarket alarm to trigger the factory alarm and cause the headlights to pop up and down. That would not be good for HID's
