Differential cover plate cracks?
Hi guys, I have an aftermarket LSD in a stock FD differential casing.
Upon opening the differential cover plate I noticed there are hairline cracks on it, some on the inside and a few outside. Also some of the cracks in the inside have metal bits sticking out so when you run your finger over them it scratches you.
Should I not use this cover plate? What would cause the cracks?

They're probably not cracks, they're probably imperfections in the cast part. I've seen those before, it's not an issue.
