Different R12 Low Pressure AC Lines for 93?

Different R12 Low Pressure AC Lines for 93?
I need to replace my LP line on my 93, which previously SHOULD have R12 in it. I bought a replacement R12 LP line from another 93, and the O rings looked like a different color, and the threads did not match up on either side. The charge ports looked the same, and the geometry was the same for both lines, but the thread was slightly different.
I compared my line to another person's line, and it still didn't match up, so it seems like I have a one off AC line.
Why were there different Low pressure AC lines? Maybe I have an R134 system?
Thanks for the input,
Kevin

IIRC, There were 2 different compressors on the 93s. Each takes a different pressure of refrigerant.
Perhaps that is the reason for the difference in lines you observed?
I suspect the 94 and later R134s might also be different from the 93s. Hopefully someone can confirm.
