Did a muffler rap at a car show "results inside"

I did this just for fun. I knew that I would not win, but wanted to know how loud my car was. First of all I have 3" dp, 3"mid-pipe, and a 4" cb "apex gt spec.-w/o the silecer of course". I am also non sequential, which makes it a little louder.
At an idle my car is 89 descibles, at 2k my car is at 96 and at a full rev it maxed out at 103. I was louder than alot of small blocks, but the big blocks kicked my ***. I think the winner put out like 118.
Has anybody else tried this? I just want to see how I compare.

It would be even louder under load. Rotaries don't have any valvetrain to power, and you aren't going to be making a lot of boost with no load, so it isn't going to be nearly as loud as it would be accelerating the car.

How about an open wastegate, that would be a few db higher.

Heh, my car with my t78 and pretty much custom 3.5 inch exhaust makes well over 120decibles when under full boost and load at 12lbs. It hurts your ears.
