Question did i lose my passenger airbag??

I have a 94 w/ driver and passenger airbags. I installed a Momo steering wheel via a Momo hub, and pulled the airbag light in the dash. I also removed the airbag SRS computer (found in the gearbox tunnel, behind the radio/temperature controls...can also be seen from the driver's footwell). The SRS computer was removed to get rid of the 5 beeps, since the Momo hub doesn't have an airbag sensor harness.

Other than the 5 beeps, I'm not quite sure what the SRS computer does/is responsible for. So my question is, with the SRS computer removed, does my passenger airbag still work? Or did I lose that one as well?

Thanks

No.

Yes you lost use of it.

SRS computer interfaces with crash sensors to fire airbags. Might as well remove the crash sensors too.

Clayne, yes I meant did I lose use of it

So if I reconnect the SRS computer, I'm back in business, right? Why would I want to do that you may ask? Because my life is something I can answer to...but what may possibly happen to a passenger... that's a responsibility larger than what I would like to carry. That, and the racing harnesses are hardly used while on public roadways anyways...
