Defi Super Sports Cluster Update!
Hey guys I was wondering if there had been any update for the Defi Super Sports Cluster since my post

If not does anyone know if there is a STACK model like the ST8110SR yet with the Air Temperature display as well???
Or does anyone know any Rx-7 retailers that supply STACK gauges?

all the Stack 8130 gauge can add Air temp or fuel pressure.
go to Stack USA web site. you can find a retailer of stack dash.
From what I know. I am only one in USA , are putting Stack 8130 into a FD. you can go to inter/EXT section to find my thread
About Defi gauge, they are not that cheaper then stack or mabe a bit more in USA?

I did e-mail Defi about the launch date and size of the cluster . This is what they had to say....

The DSSC cluster is small enough to set in front of existing stock meter cluster. Of course the DSSC has odometer and fuel level gauge.
But we have to fix bugs on this product and we also have to localize all operation menu and documents. so I assume it will take a few more years to release this product for international market.

Does the Defi have data logging cabalities? I've been looking hard at replacing my whole gauge cluster with Stack street dash with boost, the Defi cluster if it ever comes stateside or a whole set of Autometer Nexus gauges. As far as I know the Stack street dash doesn't do this unless you pony up the cash for one of the other models. Right now I'm leaning towards the Nexus setup as I prefer analog guages (for the tach and boost at least).

Yeah as far as I know it uses an SD memory card for data logging.
The Sard RD-1 model also says that it can log up to 30 mins of data.

Here's the reply I got when I inquired about a North American release.
Thank you for inquiry.
First of all, we have to apologize that we do not have a fixed plan
to release DSSC outside Japan at this moment.

We have just launched Defi Super Sports Cluster in Japan.(on Oct 11.2005).
But to launch this product in Japanese market, we had to establish
exclusive dealership. because this DSSC needs lots of skill for
installation.
And this product is designed only in Japan. Messages on the meter and
documents are all in Japanese. So we need to localize them if we release
DSSC for International market. I'm afraid that It will take a long time.
So, at this moment, we have not fixed plan for offering outside Japan.
It depends on its success in Japanese market.
