dear god.. idle problem WHAT THE HELL!?

ok. so if any of you regulars have been following youll notice ive had my fair share of, "wtf is this noise? wtf is that" type threads. well, lets start with the good news. I FIXED MAH TURBOS! and was boosting. for the first time in my FD, my IC had a hole in it or something, so i just replaced it. boost was up around 10.

well, today rolls around and i get on it a little bit. nothing big just touched 70 in 3rd. and i slow it down and continue on my way, and when i pull in at the park my idle is @ 2.5k, then it would drop to normal and within about 2 seconds spike back up... I checked the hoses and im about to take the UIM off and look over all my vac lines, but i though id enquire what else it might be before I desect my car. Help would be appreciated, im tempted to start a paypal and tip people who post here because i am even annoying myself with this.

On other turbo'd cars that is a sign of a vacuum leak. Good luck.

pretty sure vacuum leak is after the throttle body since at idle its pretty much closed and the IAC lets more air in to control idle. A hole in your IC would not give symptoms of a vacuum leak but rather a boost leak.

i would start by checking all hoses connected to the UIM and then move on from there by looking at your UIM and TB gaskets
