Is it a deal?

I have found a 94 RX-7 for sale about an hour away from me. Here's the details: red ext., black leather int., 30K miles, touring, power everything, CD, but it's an auto. The guy is asking $12,500 for it, is it too good to be true? What should I look for as far as flaws or damage? I'm gonna get a carfax when I get the VIN. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If its an auto thats just a good deal. I wouldnt say its a steal. Low milage good. Auto tranny bad. They balance out to about 13grand.

So long as there are no engine defects, such as a coolant seal leak, etc. it sounds like a decent deal.

Go here to prepare yourself before you go look at the car:

Some of the hardcore here put down autos, but even though I have a 5 speed, I think the autos are good cars. I'd buy a good auto over a manual with problems any day.

Good luck. Let us know how it turns out.

It's an auto. Are you sure you want it????? Swaping manual in for an auto ain't fun nor cheap. Don't just sattle for what you can, but find the best you could. If you want it, then it's all good.
