dashboard/non-bose stereo question

you know that cubby under the deck of the nonbose system? anyone know how to remove it?

I want to take it out and put some holes into it so i can fit my profecB and timer in there.

I think it has a pair of holes on each side for a removal tool (or coat hanger) just like the stereo.

got to pop off the little plastic covers, the two holes will appear. coat hanger will work, but must work it around to get the unit to unhook
