i just bought a 94 rx7 that has been sitting for a year, when we turned it on the odometer does not display anything, it lights up though

we checked and other things work, lights, windshield wipers

the car has no engine hooked up, and we checked the meter fuse

any ideas??

check the meter fuse?

 

checked, plugged a ECU in too.. does the rest of the wiring harness have to be plugged in? (injectors and such)
