Angry Damn Window Switch!!!

So my window switch is busted. It's the driver side. The driver switch on it works, but the pass. switch doesn't work. I took it apart to try to fix it. The solder joints and wire look fine. It's the switch itself. I put the pass. switch back together exactly the same as the driver switch. Plug it back it. Still does not work!!! I don't know what's wrong with it. When I push or pull on the driver switch, I hear a click. No click w/ the pass. switch. I took it apart again to see if I did anything wrong. Everything looks OK. I don't know why the pass. one doesn't work!
What is making the driver one click?
I might need a new switch!

The switch on the passenger door is not working either. It goes up, but now down.

Your pass side switch is messedup most likley... mine shorted out and melted the plastic peg that holds the metal things up.... pull it apart and look. be gentle and keep your eyes out for where everything is supposed to go. when mine went the pass window stopped working.
Good luck

They might be broken or like mine, it was teh door jamb connection. The wires for your pwoer anything from the door go through a connection on the door jamb. My rubber boot was off and I guess water would get in it and oxidize the connections. I would have to scrape them clean and put it back together cause my boot never wanted to connect right. Well I finally got it to connect right and now the problem never happens again.

SO open the drivers side door, pull back the boot and disconnect the clamp/switch that goes through the door and check. Also press it together tighter and jiggle it while trying to roll the windows up.

My passenger side window switch is pretty retarded. It can go down but it won't go back up. SOMETIMES it'll move back up like a tiny bit then it'll get stuck and I'll have to use the driver side switch to close it back up.

Anyone have THAT problem?

My passenger side switch does the same thing. Goes down but doesn't want to go back up unless I use the driver's side switch. Oh well, what do you expect, it's a 10 year old car. Things are bound to break...

Like I said... (since mine did this) I'm pretty sure if you pop out and disconnect your pass side window switch then pull it apart you will find a melted support peg.
